Exeter Community Transport Association

Exeter Community Transport Association is a hard working and valued local charity, helping to support independent mobility through a number of services. For more information of what we do please click through to the about page, or take a look at our services.

Shopmobility

Provides powered or manual vehicles for anyone needing help to get around the city centre. Long term hire is available for manual wheelchairs and collapsible scooters for outings or holidays.

Ring & Ride (Excursions)

For anyone having problem using the normal buses in the Exeter area. The driver brings users into the city centre and to supermarkets on certain days depending on where you live. The Bus is an easy access vehicle which links with Exeter Shopmobility. This service also arranges a number of lunches and excursions throughout the year.

City Sights

Provides a service to aid blind and partially sighted people to access Exeter City Centre with the help of a fully trained volunteer as their guide.

Taxicard

Available to those who meet the criteria to help with the cost by refunding Taxi fares up to a maximum annual amount. This service is available for residents of Exeter and certain surrounding areas.

Transport Hub

An easy access resource for booking trips and/or holidays. The HUB is fitted with specific programmes that help people with disabilities or sensory deprivation to make the task easier for them.

Greater Exeter Access

The Greater Exeter Access Project is a facility which offers access to parts of the city via our recently purchased Tramper vehicle.
Areas that were difficult to reach for the mobility - challenged are now within the Tramper's scope. Some of these areas include but are not limited to The Quay, Pennsylvania and Topsham.
